Job Description

A growing IT firm is in need of a Senior Support Technician to lead its team of SAGE support technicians. This role presents an excellent opportunity for development in a growing company, for a candidate with extensive technical support experience. This role will also involve some onsite coaching and training of clients in SAGE software. You will receive full training on SAGE software, so experience with it is not essential, but experience with SAGE is desirable. As the Senior Support Technician you will be leading a team of two other support technicians. You will be providing helpdesk and desktop support for SAGE 50 accounts, Payroll and ACT! The employer has also developed its own products which you will be trained with. You will also be; managing the support team to ensure that it is achieving targets and retaining support contracts. For approximately 2 days a week you will also be out delivering onsite training to clients. The successful candidate will ideally have 5 years of experience working in support help desk and call out support and be able to demonstrate some strong management experience in a support team environment. Experience within a book keeping or accounting experience is preferred.
