As Accounts Assistant working for a national law firm based in their Birmingham office, you will be reporting to the Finance Manager, and will be responsible for the billing side of the business.
Predominantly this role will mainly involve undertaking billing tasks, experience of billing within professional services is essential for this role. Other tasks will include daily banking, dealing with CHAPS payments, transfers between accounts, and assisting the fee earners and secretaries.
Previous accounts assistant experience is essential for this role, ideally within professional services. An understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules will be advantageous.
