My client is looking for an excellent Administrator with solid communication skills. This is a 6mnth contract
You will be supporting training courses, programmes and events
Handling all administration of training courses, including scheduling, notifications, attendance monitoring, preparing materials, catering and any other appropriate activities.
Support the Professional Development Advisors (PDAs) in scheduling events and developing training materials.
Managing projects, such as leadership development programmes, assessed modules, events and qualifications.
Liaise with external training providers, suppliers and organisations.
Managing queries received face-to-face, by email and phone, and judging when to refer to relevant members of the team.
Raising purchase orders, processing invoices, including checking and coding for the department. Using appropriate software to record financial commitments and expenditure as necessary.
Producing training reports and statistics using Access as and when required by the team and managers in other schools/departments.
Weekly updating of website and advertising of forthcoming training courses
Facilities management to include all training rooms, office and meeting spaces.
Monitoring of stocks and ordering of stationery, office and coffee supplies.
Providing general clerical support to the Centre Manager including the production of letters, memos and other documents, taking messages from telephone enquiries, and checking diary for availability for meetings.
Arranging travel, accommodation and attendance at conferences and other events as required.
English and Mathematics GCSE minimum grade C or equivalent
Experience of working in a customer facing department and strong administration skills
Proficient in MS packages and ability to learn new systems quickly.
