Finance Administration Assistant – Advert

I am recruiting for an organisation that operates in the third sector. They are a membership organisation and have members from across the UK.

They are seeking a Finance Administration Assistant to join their Account Team. Based in Birmingham, as the Finance Administration Assistant, you will perform the following tasks:-

Purchase ledger administration

Sales ledger administration and credit control

Checking and processing expenses claims and credit card returns

Query resolution

Working with suppliers and customers

General reporting

Providing basic cover during leave

Other ad hoc finance tasks

Other general administration duties

To undertake any additional duties as directed by the Finance Manager and Chief

Executive Officer

If you are an experience Finance Administrator I want to hear from you. You should possess the following:-

Skills/experience

Sales and purchase ledger
Credit control
 Data entry

Understanding of Access Accounts system or similar ie SAGE
 

If you have worked for a membership, charity or third sector organisation this is desirable but not essential
