My client, a Birmingham based Charity, is seeking a part time finance & monitoring officer. The hours will be a minimum of 20 hours a week, over 3 days, and there will be some flexibility required at busy periods. The role is hugely varied and duties include:-
Book-keeping, payroll and other financial functions including sales ledger and purchase ledger input; reconciliation, journals and nominal ledger administration, dealing with invoices and cheque payments, some credit control, monitoring cashflow, working on budgets and financial reports for the CEO, attending senior management, assist with the preparation of end of year accounts and audit arrangements.
Your qualifications and experience will include:-
Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or similar with demonstrable commitment to work towards completion or you may be a recently qualified ACCA, CIMA or similar
You will have previous all round experience of working in an accounts office environment but be able to work in a stand alone role with autonomy and be a self-starter. Previous experience of working in a not-for-profit or charity organisation is desirable but not essential.
