Job Description

Currently recruiting for a Proposal Manager, my client is looking for at least 5 year’s experience within tender and proposal management experience.  A track record of securing large and small Customer contracts. Excellent interpersonal, negotiating and project management skills and experience of working in public and private sectors

The key duties of the role are:

•             Responsible to the Commercial and Governance Director and/or the Commercial Manager for providing a full tenders service for tenders and proposals for new business;

•             Preparing complex DBO and new service offerings, liaising with the marketing, business development and operational teams;

•             Preparation and submission or formal tenders and the management of bid teams;

•             The role holder may also be expected to provide the same central support across company

 

Education and Training:

Essential:

•             Minimum HNC in relevant science/engineering discipline

•             English and mathematics GCSE or equivalent

Desirable:

•             Evidence of training in proposal/bid and tender preparation

 

Skills and Attributes:

Essential:

•             High attention to detail and quality

•             Ability to work to demanding deadlines and timescales

•             Understanding of the different drivers and perspectives of Customers

Desirable:

•             At least three year’s experience in tender preparation and responding to PQQs and ITTs
