Job Description

My client, is a privately owned business, supplying high end of retail, gift and jewellery packaging.  
They are looking for a Supply Chain Manager.  The role is wide-ranging, extremely fast paced and will need someone with extensive experience of:-
 Demand planning - managing suppliers in the Far East
 Operations management - managing the production and warehouse team
 Product management and stock management/forecasting
 Purchasing
 Database management
 Website, making any changes eg new products
For the right person, this is a fantastic role, which is a crucial piece of the team in this company, and you will reporting directly in to the Managing Director.
To be considered for this role you will have experience in:-

• End to end supplier activities and relationships
• Dealing with suppliers in the Far East
• Demand planning ,forecasting and merchandising skills
• Supply chain management
• Excellent use of process and systems and excel spreadsheets
• Man management and teamwork skills 
• Ability to sort and organize work
• Corrective action & Continuous Improvement Techniques
• Good spoken and written communication skills
• A responsible attitude
• Good 'people skills' for building relationships with colleagues at all levels 
• Accuracy with record keeping
